But it turned out that disassembling the headset is very difficult.
To open the headphones, iFixit specialists had to clamp them in a small vise. Already this led to violations of the “geometry” of the case. But specialists were still able to gain access to some components. For example, to speakers and microcircuits. However, in order to get to the batteries, such a disassembly is not enough – it is very difficult to do this without serious damage to the case.
As a result, experts noted that AirPods 3 and Beats Fit Pro are almost beyond repair. Headphones received 0 points out of 10 possible. Other AirPods “showed” a similar result.
