Reputable analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, in a new note to investors, said that Apple will show new AirPods Pro in the fourth quarter of 2022. It is expected that one of the main features of the new headphones will be the design. In the past, sources have reported on Apple’s plans to strip the AirPods Pro 2 of its branded “legs”. As a result, headphones can become similar to Beats Studio Buds or Beats Fit Pro. Ming-Chi Kuo also reports similar changes.
However, AirPods Pro 2 should have other features as well. In particular, the new headphones can receive a number of sensors to track the physical performance of the user and an improved chip. The latter will provide a better connection between the headphones and the sound source.
It can also be assumed that the second generation AirPods Pro will receive an improved charging case. In addition to MagSafe support, it will also have IPX4 water resistance. Currently, this option is only available in AirPods 3.
