Yesterday Apple released an update for iOS beta testers | iPadOS. The new iOS 15.4 beta and the iPad version have received a number of interesting features that can make life easier for Apple users.
What’s new in firmware:
- The ability to unlock the iPhone in a mask;
- 35 new emoticons;
- Wallet Widget (Apple Card);
- Adding notes for the keychain;
- Universal control of iPadOS;
- Custom trigger support on Sony DualSense controllers;
- In medical records, you can add a certificate of vaccination;
- Added “Keyboard Brightness” option to iPadOS;
- AirPods popup widget now shows (R) / (L) and charging case icon;
- Mention of a new tool for evaluating a used iPhone by photo;
- In Notes, you can set adaptive corners (in the upper corners).
It should be noted that some features, such as the ability to unlock an iPhone while wearing a mask using Face ID, will only work on the iPhone 12 model.
There are also betas for macOS, watchOS, and tvOS. It is not yet known when Apple will release public versions of the updates to everyone. Nevertheless, we strongly advise against installing betas on your main devices, as it may be with errors and bugs in the system. This can cause the main functions of your iPhone to not work properly | iPad | Mac and Apple Watch.
