Apple Glass smart glasses will get new object detection technology

For several years, Apple has been working on Apple Glass AR smart glasses. According to forecasts, the novelty should be released in 2022-2024.

The device can receive a unique technology for tracking gestures and hand position. It will allow you to more accurately determine when the hand is in a relaxed state or clenched to add a more accurate AR effect. This technology will include several high-quality 3D sensing modules, similar to those found in Face ID on the iPhone.

Previously, patents have already appeared that describe a similar process. Also, smart glasses will be able to track the position of the user’s iris, the direction of gaze, object detection using built-in LiDAR, will recognize the skin and support voice control.
