Apple’s cult of leaks is fueled by iconic figures such as Jon Prosser, LeaksApplePro, L0vetodream, and many more. The company recently announced a fierce crackdown on new product leaks. And now information has leaked out that some employees of the company are being forced to wear police-grade cameras in order to prevent leaks.
Despite the fact that rumors and the spread of confidential information about new products are not exactly desirable things at Apple, it seems that the company is walking on very thin ice. Such actions can be regarded ambiguously both by the press and by the employees themselves.
I wonder if such measures will help prevent new rumors from leaking out or will they become another funny plot in Prosser’s video?
