Apple releases Configurator app for iPhone

Until recently, the Configurator app was only available on Mac. However, now the situation has changed. Apple has released this utility for the iPhone as well. The main task of the application is to facilitate the work of system administrators. With Configurator, they can quickly add new computers to Apple Business Manager or Apple School Manager, even if the Mac was not purchased from Apple or an authorized reseller.

According to available data, only relatively new models that are equipped with a T2 chip or Apple Silicon processor are compatible with the Configurator app for iPhone. This means that Intel-based devices released before 2018 will not be supported.
