Apple to release iMac Pro and AR headset in 2022

In a new report from Display Supply Chain Consultants, analyst Ross Young talked about the new products that Apple may show in the next couple of years. According to him, the updated iMac Pro will be presented in the spring. The monoblock will receive a 27-inch mini-LED display with support for Pro Motion technology.

The base version of the iMac Pro 2022 should be equipped with an M1 Pro chip, 16 GB of RAM and a 512 GB SSD. However, more powerful models will also be on sale. They should be equipped with M1 Max chips and a large amount of RAM. It is possible that in terms of their technical characteristics, the most expensive iMac Pro 2022 models will be comparable to the top-end MacBook Pro 2021.

In addition, next year Apple should show its first AR headset. According to Yang, the novelty will be very expensive. Earlier it was reported that the price of Apple Glass could start at $ 3,000.

Yang did not forget about the folding iPhone. The expert noted that work on this device is underway. However, users should not hope for an early release. At best, the foldable iPhone won’t be released until 2023. But, most likely, users will have to wait until 2024.
