Apple uses GaN technology for 140W adapter

Apple on October 18 introduced the new MacBook Pro. The top-of-the-line 16-inch MacBook Pro with the M1 Max processor comes with a 140W power adapter that uses GaN technology. This is the first time that Apple has introduced its own accessory of this type.

The new USB-C PD 3.1 EPR compliant adapter can deliver more than 100W of charging power. Therefore, new items can be charged in 30 minutes up to 50%.
