Apple Watch 7 came out with an Apple Watch 6 processor

At the presentation of the Apple Watch Series 7, Apple did not focus on which processor is installed in the new product. Usually, Cupertino, on the contrary, highlights the performance of the updated chip.

Also on the Apple website, you will not find any mention of which chip the smart watch runs on. Arouses suspicion, doesn’t it?

The developer, through the Xcode system, confirmed that Apple used the same processor in the new product as in last year’s version of the Apple Watch 6. Therefore, they kept silent about the performance at the presentation and did not indicate this on the site.

This is not the first time that the same processor is installed in different products of the company. But quite often the chip is improved, and now we see an identical component in the new device.

It’s entirely possible that the company had to use last year’s chips due to a shortage of processors, and the decision to bring the S6 to the Apple Watch 7 was made at the last minute. So far, the seventh generation smartwatch is not available for order, although other new iPhone 13, iPad mini 6 and iPad 9 can be pre-ordered.
