A new study by Counterpoint Research has found that the Apple Watch remains the leader in the global wearables market this year. The number of active users has reached a record high of over 100 million.
The most popular models this quarter were: Apple Watch Series 6, Apple Watch SE and Apple Watch Series 3. They entered the top 5 best-selling wearable devices worldwide.
In general, the jump in sales of smart watches worldwide amounted to 27%. Researchers attribute this to the normalization of the situation with the pandemic and the desire of people to better monitor their health.
Users, according to analysts, prefer the Apple Watch because of its well-built connection to the Apple ecosystem, as well as its functionality.
