In October, Apple will introduce updated 16 and 14-inch MacBook Pro 2021. They will come out in a new design and will be equipped with an Apple Silicon M1X processor.
As much as we’d love to get a refresh of the MacBook Air this fall, unfortunately Apple won’t go for it due to the fact that the device has recently been updated and is still quite a bargain for many.
But the updated Air could be expected next fall, according to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who predicts the start of mass production in the third quarter of 2022.
According to rumors, the device may receive not only an updated design, but also an improved mini-LED display, as well as a new M1X ARM processor. Earlier, Mark Gurman reported that the new MacBook Air will receive two USB ports, as well as MagSafe charging, which was introduced in the iMac (2021). The latter is a little strange, because Thunderbolt charging is more versatile.
