Xiaomi subsidiary Aqara has introduced a novelty: a small USB-A hub that can act as a link for up to 128 devices, but this will require the Aqara Smart Plug repeater. The new hub is a compact solution for users.
The dimensions of the Aqara Hub E1 hub will pass for a small flash drive: 10.8 x 3 x 0.76 cm, and the weight is 58 g. In addition, the convenient USB-A interface allows you to power the hub from any drive with a connector, socket or Wi -Fi router. This is practical, because you do not need another outlet for the hub, and its design also allows for a 120-degree rotation: you can install it so that the hub does not interfere and does not get out of the interior.
The Zigbee 3.0 protocol provides a reliable connection for your smart home and a network feature that can self-recover after being disconnected.
The hub supports HomeKit, Alexa, Google and IFTTT. It can also act as a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi repeater to make the connection more stable. Please note that in this case it will support up to two devices.
The cost of the novelty is $30, excluding shipping.
