Aqara launches A100 Pro lock with Apple HomeKey support

Earlier it was reported that Aqara introduced a new smart lock A100, which was recently launched in China. It has now become known that the company will also introduce an improved version of the new Aqara A100 Pro smart lock, its main feature will be support for the new Apple HomeKey function. The function allows you to use the electronic keys added to the Wallet to open the door.

In all other respects, the lock is absolutely identical in function and design to the A100 version. Of course, you will be able to open the door in other ways, which include using NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, passcode, changeable passcode, fingerprint, physical key, Apple Home app and a special card. The lock supports the Zigbee 3.0 certificate.

The lock uses 8 replaceable batteries to power it, which can provide up to 540 days of operation. The price of the regular version in China is $250, the price of the lock with Apple HomeKey support has not yet been disclosed.
