A year ago, Apple released full-size AirPods Max headphones, which received mixed reviews from users. The designers decided to show us the concept of how Apple could improve the headphones.
Firstly, The earbuds could use waterproof protection. Now they cannot be used outdoors: because the least interaction with water (for example, a sudden downpour) or sweat during a run, and on-ear headphones can fail.
Secondly, charging. For charging, it would not hurt to use Type-C, and it would be even better if Apple added the ability to wirelessly charge MagSafe. Charging MagSafe could be placed on a protective case of the new version.
Thirdly, it would not hurt to add more headphone personalization options: Let users choose headboards and cases in different colors to create unusual AirPods Max 2 or replace parts that have failed.
In addition, the concept showcases several new seasonal AirPods Max 2 color options: Purple, Starlight, and Pink. The colors are consistent with previously released Apple products and have a new look.
Also, the designers suggested that it would be nice to lower the price of the headphones to $499. But it is unlikely that Apple will go for it.
