Former employees of Apple and Beats will release a camera for Mac

Natives of Apple, Uber and Beats have announced a portable camera for the Mac Opal C1. It’s made from aluminum and offers a multi-fold increase in the quality of the Mac’s built-in camera.

The minimalistic aluminum camera has not yet gone on sale, but is already collecting pre-orders for the delivery of beta versions. Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian became one of the sponsors of the development.

In addition to video enhancement, the handheld camera also provides noise reduction and multiple beamforming microphones. The camera will work and be configured to work with macOS through a proprietary application, and plug-and-play support will also be built-in.
