Garmin introduces Venu 2 Plus smartwatch with Siri support

Less than a year after the release of the Venu 2 smartwatch, Garmin has released a new model. In the new product, the manufacturer solved one of the main shortcomings that was in the original – Venu 2 Plus received a built-in microphone and speaker, as well as support for external voice assistants.

Thanks to an additional microphone, the new smartwatch from Garmin is able to work with Siri. To do this, users simply need to connect the Venu 2 Plus to the iPhone via Bluetooth. Such a bundle does not affect the functionality of the assistant in any way. Users can ask Siri to dial a phone number, send a message, set an alarm, and more. In addition to Apple’s voice assistant, the watch also works well with Google Assistant and Samsung’s Bixby.

The Venu 2 Plus features a 1.3-inch round AMOLED display and a range of sensors that can track heart rate, blood oxygen levels, stress levels, sleep quality, and more.

In terms of battery life, a full charge of the Venu 2 Plus battery will last for about nine days of operation. However, a lot depends on the use cases. For example, with active GPS, the watch will “last” no more than a day.

The Garmin Venu 2 Plus is compatible with both iPhone and Android devices. You can buy a new watch from Garmin on the official website of the manufacturer for $450.
