Google is launching a new Workspace “trial” plan for small businesses. By signing up, teams of up to 25 people get up to 15 GB of space and the ability to collaborate remotely.
The free package includes Meet conferencing, digital Jamboard, calendar collaboration software, notes, collaborative group management tools. Unlike paid plans, the service does not include additional Google services, Electronic Document Vault and Google Cloud Search. The plan also limits video conferencing to 60 minutes.
The company said that in order to connect to the Essentials Starter package, users simply need to sign up with a Google account and invite a team to collaborate.
The plan will become available from mid-February 2022.
