iMac Pro could be equipped with a 12-core Apple M1

At the moment, the Apple M1 chip exists in three versions. In the top version, it has 10 computing cores. However, according to insider DylanDKT, Apple may soon release another variation of the M1. It will have 12 computing cores. It is assumed that two of them will be energy efficient, and the remaining ten – high performance.

According to DylanDKT, the new chip will form the basis of the updated iMac Pro. It is reported that monoblocks will be focused primarily on professionals. For this reason, we can assume that Apple will equip the new items with powerful stuffing.

At the same time, according to earlier rumors, the iMac Pro should also receive new mini-LED displays with a diagonal of at least 27 inches and support for ProMotion technology. It is expected that the official announcement of monoblocks will take place in the next few months. Some analysts are also in favor of an early announcement. In particular, at the end of December, Ross Young announced that Apple partners had already begun production of parts for the iMac Pro 2022.
