Live Text Feature Introduced in macOS 12 Monterey Beta on Intel Mac

At the WWDC 2021 presentation, Apple introduced text-on-photo recognition for iOS 15 and macOS 12 Monterey. Initially, everyone thought that this feature should be exclusive to Macs on the M1 processor. But Apple added it to the macOS 12 Monterey beta for Intel Macs.

After reports that the new Mac Pro could come with an Intel processor, this seems to be another confirmation of the rumor that the companies will continue to cooperate. It’s nice that Apple still decided to add a feature for older Macs, not limited to implementation only for PCs running on Apple Silicon.

Live Text allows you to recognize the text in the photo and use it to quickly find the information you need in the browser.
