Philips Hue announces new street lights

Philips Hue has updated its smart street lighting range with three new street lights: Philips Hue Inara, Lucca and Resonate.

All three fixtures are designed for outdoor use. The first of these Philips Hue Inara is made in classic vintage style with an Edison lamp inside the structure, while Lucca and Resonate are more modern designs. In addition, the Philips Hue Calla outdoor lamp has been updated.

The luminaires are HomeKit compatible and can be controlled by voice and via the Home app when using the Philips Hue Bridge hub. Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant are also supported.

The Philips Hue Inara and Lucca will be available March 1st for $99.99 and the Resonate for $159.99. street lamp Philips Hue Calla will retail for $157.

In addition to the new fixtures, the company also announced an update to its app, due in the first half of 2022. The update will bring the ability to customize Hue bulbs to mimic the glow of a candle or a fireplace.
