Philips Hue launches new HomeKit smart bulbs

Philips Hue is the leading leader in smart lighting profile. A Hueblog source reports that very soon the Philips Hue collection will be replenished with several more interesting devices.

New lamps can get brightness up to 1100 lumens. Please note that while the maximum brightness of standard bulbs reaches 806 lumens. In addition, Philips plans to launch one premium lamp with a maximum sustained brightness of up to 1600 lumens.

At the end of August or at the beginning of September, the company may also introduce new E14 Hue White incandescent lamps. The novelties will reportedly support the Matter protocol, which is compatible with HomeKit, Amazon Alexa Smart Home and Google Weave.
