Rumor: iPhone 13 display will get an Apple Watch chip

Apple may introduce an Always-On display in the new iPhone 13. This is reported by Mark Gurman of Bloomberg. It’s unclear which models will receive the update: will it be available only for the premium iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max, or for the entire 2021 lineup.

We have been waiting for the introduction of the Always-On display since the days of the iPhone X, periodically insiders report leaks that indicate the addition of this technology to the OLED screens of the iPhone. This functionality is available on the Apple Watch. It provides greater energy efficiency and access to notifications without having to activate the smartwatch.
