Rumor: New iPad Air 5 with LiDAR, no change for iPad mini 6

This year we still expect a massive update to the iPad. According to rumors, they should show the iPad Air 5, iPad mini 6 and iPad 9.

Insiders from Mac Otakara shared data about future innovations. According to them, the new iPad Air 5 will get a full-screen design similar to the iPad Pro, but with a built-in Touch ID button. It is believed that another camera lens will be added for the new tablet, possibly the introduction of a LiDAR scanner, but insiders are not sure about the latter.

The iPad Air 5 will get an A15 processor but won’t include an OLED screen as previously rumored.
