Rumor: New MacBook Pros will get a 1080p webcam

According to iOS developer and active Twitter user @Dylandkt, the next generation of MacBook Pro will get an updated 1080p webcam. Previously, this user has already expressed some confirmed assumptions about innovations in future Apple devices.

Given that the 24-inch iMac has already received a similar camera, everything points to its appearance in the upcoming update to the MacBook Pro line. And based on a leak about the supply chain on June 9, we learned that the release of new Apple laptops is not expected in the first half of 2022, but already at the end of this year.

As a reminder, the 13- and 16-inch MacBook Pros currently use a FaceTime camera with only 720p resolution, and upgrading to 1080p will be a very welcome change for users.
