Twelve South introduced thin GaN charging

Twelve South has expanded its range of chargers with the introduction of a new power adapter that has entered the PlugBug line. A novelty called PlugBug Slim stands out for its thickness. At the same time, it can be used to easily charge the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro Max. The power of the new power adapter is 20W.

PlugBug Slim is based on GaN transistors. Thanks to this, the manufacturer was able to reduce the size of the power adapter. PlugBug Slim is only 17mm thick. This makes the novelty one of the thinnest chargers on the market.

It takes up very little space, so users can easily carry it with them in a bag or backpack. Convenience is added by the folding design of the plug. In the “stowed” position, it simply folds into the charging case.

You can buy a novelty on the official website of the manufacturer. The price is $24.99. That’s only $6 more than Apple’s branded power adapter. However, the latter still has noticeably large dimensions.
