Apple continues to work on its new operating systems. Last night, the third beta version of iOS 15 became available to developers. The new test build did not bring with it a lot of innovations. All of them are mainly aimed at fixing bugs. But along with this, iOS 15 beta 3 has some interesting innovations. One of them is mentioned in the description of the update.
According to the information specified in the update description, users will be able to install system updates on their iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch even if there is less than 500 MB of free space in the device’s memory.
There is currently no information on how exactly this innovation works. The company could go in two ways – either change the method of packaging updates so that they take up less space, or reconsider the principle of installing updates.
However, regardless of how exactly the new mechanism works, many users will be happy with this innovation. In the past, Apple Watch Series 3 owners have complained that they can’t install an update because their watch only has 8GB of storage. There will be no such problem in the future.
