YouTube launches YouTube Shorts Fund program in Ukraine

Goolge announced the launch of its YouTube Shorts Fund program in Ukraine. Starting in December 2021, short video creators who publish their videos on YouTube can receive bonus payouts ranging from $100 to $10,000 per month. The final amount will depend on several factors, including the number of views, channel performance, audience location, etc.

You do not need to be a YouTube Partner to participate in the YouTube Shorts Fund. This program has its own requirements. Authors must meet the following criteria:

  • Have at least one short video uploaded in the last 180 days on the channel.
  • The channel itself must comply with the site rules.
  • The authors of the videos must be at least 18 years of age (in the case of Ukraine).

It is also important that short videos are copyrighted and do not contain watermarks and social media logos.

Recall that this summer, the YouTube Shorts option became available to Ukrainian authors who shoot content for YouTube. With its help, users could shoot short vertical videos, up to 60 seconds long, and immediately publish them on their channel.
